Attacking and Damaging

To attack (firing, swinging):

  1. Pick a target

  2. Roll a d6, and add the FORT if it’s a melee (swing), or REFL if it’s a ranged (fire) attack.

  3. Compare the result with the target’s DEX.

  4. If the result is higher, the attack registers a hit.

  5. Roll for damage. Subtract the roll from target’s HP. Target’s armour nullifies (absorbs) damage equal to its defence.

If you roll a six on an attack roll, it triggers a critical, if available.
