Attacking and Damaging
To attack (firing, swinging):
Pick a target
Roll a d6, and add the FORT if it’s a melee (swing), or REFL if it’s a ranged (fire) attack.
Compare the result with the target’s DEX.
If the result is higher, the attack registers a hit.
Roll for damage. Subtract the roll from target’s HP. Target’s armour nullifies (absorbs) damage equal to its defence.
If you roll a six on an attack roll, it triggers a critical, if available.
