Hunger and Thirst

For each day, a character needs to eat a portion of rations, and drink a bottle of water.

For each day a character doesn't eat anything, he loses 1HP, and becomes hungry. His STR determines maximum days he can go without food.

When hungry, a character

  • can only travel with rough terrain rules.

  • gets his two slots in his backack as occupied. (cannot be used).

  • gets +1 penalty on his checks.

  • cannot use FORT/REFL bonus in combat.

For each day a character doesn't drink enough water, he loses 1HP, and he becomes thirsty. His FORT determines maximum days he can go without water.

A thirsty character

  • can only travel with rough terrain rules.

  • gets his four slots in his backack as occupied. (cannot be used).

  • gets +2 penalty on his checks.

  • cannot use FORT/REFL bonus in combat.

When he reaches his limit on thirst, hie dies.
