Hunt, Track, Set Traps

Hunting is the act of locating and killing animals for meat an/or other salvageable body parts of the beast. It is possible only in Wilderness and Borderlands hexes, and it must either be during dusk or dawn when animals are most active. Hunting in a single hex takes a watch (four hours).
Looking for game in each oxgang takes about three puncts. For every oxgang a character enters, roll a d6 for a sign of game.
d6 | Sign |

To succeed in finding game, locate one of those series in three adjacent oxgangs:
sight, smell sound
sight, sight, sight
smell, smell, smell
sound, sound, sound
After finding the animal, roll a d66 to determine the type of game. A successful hit with a weapon kills the game.

If an animal is not listed in here, you need to track the animal specifically.
Tracking is a specific form of hunting in which you look for a sign of a specific beast.
All creatures have a tracking score, which is equal to their STR and DEX scores combined.
To track a specific creature, when you enter an oxgang, instead of rolling a d6, roll two d6s to test your tracking, and compare the sum with the tracking score of the creature. If it succeeds, mark the oxgang.
To locate the animal successfully, three adjacent acres must be marked.
Instead of locating animals, you can also set traps for the purpose of hunting. Setting traps over a hex takes four hours.
A character needs trapper’s set to set up traps; it includes mechanical traps, as well as resources and equipment to make improvised traps.
While setting up traps, a character must declare what kind of traps you’re setting up.
Gargantuan animals cannot be trapped.
A character can check traps once day. Checking all the traps in a hex takes one hour.
To check traps roll six d6s, and set aside all the rolls that have the same result. If the value of the traps you set up meets the number of matching die, it means one animal is caught in a trap. If there are more than two sets of matching dice, (for example three 4s, and two 6s) it means multiple animals are caught in traps.
If you would like to set traps for a specific animal, your check roll must include # number of matching rolls, equal to the animals size value.
