Health Points

All creatures have Health Points (HP). To determine a humanoid character's HP;

  1. Roll three d6s.

  2. Add the result to character's STR.

Recovering lost HP

A character recovers HP per day equal to its STR.

In addition, a character can tend his wounds during a respite, rest or encamp to boost his healing speed. To tend wounds, you need a healer’s kit. A healer’s kit must be replenished after six uses.

In addition, you can use potions or spells to restore lost HP.

Card Mechanics and HP

With each 6 HPs your character loses, your hand size decreases by one (1) card. If a character reaches 0 HP, it becomes unconscious, and loses 1 HP (going negative) per round up to a maximum of its STR.

Scars

A character who reaches 0 HP receives a scar. Roll a d66 on the scars table to determine.
